Mayor Visited the House of Dr A K Bahl who died of Covid performing his duty to pay Respect and Condolences

North Delhi Mayor Mr Jai Prakash today visited the Dr A K Bahl’s residence at Ramprastha, Chander Nagar Ghaziabad to pay respect and condolences on behalf of the corporation. Dr Bahl had been serving in Hindu Rao Hospital in Anesthesia Department when he got Covid and later died due to Covid.
Mayor Mr Jai Prakash said that the North Delhi Municipal Corporation is doing every possible bit for the families of those who died due to Covid while performing their duties.
Mayor informed that 49 employees in different categories of sanitation, engineering, health, education and other departments of the corporation died since Ist April,2020 till date.
Mayor said that their families would be offered jobs and compensation out of the fund created for the purpose as per the policy. Besides this their cases would be sent to Delhi Govt for compensation of Rs one crore to each as they died while performing their duties for Delhiites so they fall in category of Corona Warriors, Mayor added.

Mayor Mr Jai Prakash said we are sensitive towards the citizens and our employees.Our employees died while performing their duties in the interest of Delhiites so without any discrimination or pick and choose we would extend the relief to the families of the those died due to Covid while performing their duties.

उत्तरी दिल्ली के महापौर ने दिवंगत डॉक्टर ए.के. वाहल के परिवार से मुलाकात कर संवेदना प्रकट की

उत्तरी दिल्ली के महापौर, श्री जय प्रकाश ने आज उत्तरी दिल्ली नगर निगम के हिंदू राव अस्पताल में कार्यरत दिवंगत डॉक्टर ए.के वाहल के ग़ाज़ियाबाद स्थित घर जाकर परिवार से मुलाकात कर संवेदना प्रकट की। डॉक्टर ए.के. वाहल का कोरोना के कारण गत दिनों देहांत हो गया था। डॉक्टर ए.के. वाहल हिंदू राव अस्पताल के एनेस्थीसिया विभाग में कार्यरत थे।

महापौर ने दिवंगत डॉक्टर ए.के. वाहल के परिवार को निगम की ओर से हर संभव मदद का आश्वासन दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि उत्तरी दिल्ली नगर निगम में कार्यरत सभी डॉक्टर, नर्स, पैरा-मेडिकल स्टाफ़ व अन्य कोरोना वॉरियर्स निगम परिवार का अहम हिस्सा है और निगम सदैव उनके हितों के लिए काम करती रहेगी।उन्होंने बताया कि एक अप्रैल, 2020 से अब तक निगम के स्वच्छता, इंजीनियरिंग, स्वास्थ्य, शिक्षा और अन्य विभागों में विभिन्न श्रेणियों में कार्यरत 49 कर्मचारियों की कोरोना से मृत्यु हो चुकी है। उन्होने कहा कि कर्मचारियों के परिवारों को नीति के अनुसार बनाए गए फंड से मुआवजा और नौकरी दी जाएगी।

महापौर ने दिल्ली सरकार से डॉक्टर ए. के. वाहल के परिवार को 1 करोड़ रुपये की सम्मान राशि देने की माँग की। उन्होंने कहा कि उत्तरी दिल्ली नगर निगम के कोरोना वॉरियर्स अपनी जान की बाज़ी लगाकर लोगों की सेवा कर रहे हैं ताकि नागरिकों को हर संभव सुविधा प्रदान की जा सके।

महापौर श्री जय प्रकाश ने कहा कि हम नागरिकों और अपने कर्मचारियों के प्रति संवेदनशील हैं। हमारे कर्मचारी दिल्लीवासियों के हित में अपने कर्तव्यों का पालन करते हुए अपने प्राण न्योछावर किए है। उन्होंने कहा कि हम बिना किसी भेदभाव के कोरोना के कारण मृत कर्मचारियों के परिवारों हर संभव सहायता प्रदान करेंगे।
